Loy Vaught was a solid player for the Los Angeles Clippers

Power forward Loy Vaught wasn’t flashy but he was a hard worker and a solid player.  Vaught played in 558 games (343 starts) in his 8 years with the Clippers and he averaged 28.1 minutes, 11.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.  Vaught is #3 in Clippers’ history in games played with 558.  He is also #2 in rebounds (4,471), #5 in steals (468) and #6 in points (6,614) in Clippers’ history.  Vaught was never “the man” with the Clippers but he was still a pretty good player for them.

Eric Piatkowski played long enough to get into the record books for the Los Angeles Clippers

I would never consider SG/SF Eric Piatkowski as anything more than a decent bench player with a nice long range shot. He played in 616 games in his career with the Clippers averaging 20.5 minutes, 8.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Piatkowski is #2 all-time in games played in team history (616), #9 in minutes played (12,655), #1 in three pointers made (738) and he is #10 all-time in franchise history in scoring with 5,269 points scored. That fact that Piatkowski is so high on some all-time lists speaks volumes about how the Clippers change direction so often by trading players or letting them go.
