Caron Butler has been the perfect “team player” for the Los Angeles Clippers this year
31-year old small forward Caron Butler doesn’t need the spotlight to be a big time performer. Butler has played in 26 games (all starts) for the Clippers so far this year and he is averaging 32.7 minutes, 15.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Butler works hard at both ends of the court as he is a “glue” player for the Clippers. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul get all the headlines, but Butler is also a big reason why they are in first place in their division with the Lakers in the rearview mirror. The Clippers hope that Butler can stay healthy the rest of the year, because he is a pretty darn good basketball player.
