The Clippers have waived 27-year old center Solomon Jones.  Jones played in 10 games (0 starts) for the Clippers this year and he averaged 9.6 minutes, 0.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game.  He has now played in 257 games (10 starts) so far in his NBA career and he is averaging 10.8 minutes, 3.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.  The Clippers have enough good big players that they won’t miss Jones too much.  Look for a team in need of a center to ink Jones in the near future.
