23-year old center DeAndre Jordan has been the protector of the rim for the Clippers so far this year.  He has played in 22 games (all starts) for the Clippers so far this year and he is averaging 31.2 minutes, 8.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 2.9 blocked shots per game.  Jordan is shooting 66.7% from the floor as most of his shots have come on putbacks and dunks.  Jordan’s only real weakness in his game is his free throw shooting as he is only hitting 46.3% of them so far this year.  That spells trouble with him playing so close to the basket.
