The Los Angeles Clippers lose Eric Gordon

Blogged under Big Clippers News,Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Injuries by alleyoop on Tuesday 10 November 2009 at 10:18 pm

The Clippers will be without starting shooting guard Eric Gordon for at least the next 10 days due to a pulled groin. Gordon has played in 7 games (7 starts) for the Clippers this season and he is averaging 38.4 minutes, 18.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Rasual Butler will replace Gordon in the starting lineup until he is ready to return to action. Butler has played in 8 games (4 starts) this season for the Clippers and he is averaging 30.3 minutes, 10.4 points, 3.0 rebouinds and 1.9 assists per game. Losing Gordon will hurt the Clippers in both the starting lineup and the bench with Butler moving into the starting unit.
