Recently signed point guard Jason Hart to get a chance to start

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Need to Step Up by alleyoop on Friday 9 March 2007 at 10:18 am

The Clippers are likely to give recently signed Jason Hart a chance to start at point guard for them. In his first game with the Clippers he played well as he scored 9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out an assist and had a steal in 25 minutes. Hart is a pure point guard who’s a pass-first player and that should help the Clippers out as they have more than enough scorers to shoot the basketball.

The Clippers need Daniel Ewing to step up

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Need to Step Up by alleyoop on Monday 5 March 2007 at 12:50 am

With Sam Cassell and Shaun Livingston out, the Clippers need Daniel Ewing to step up and run the offense. He has played in 41 games so far this season and he’s averaging 11.4 minutes, 3.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. The Clippers will need Ewing to play much better than that while Cassell is out if the Clippers have any hope of making the playoffs this season.

Sam Cassell hurtin’

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Injuries by alleyoop on Monday 5 March 2007 at 12:45 am

Sam Cassell has a groin injury and there’s no telling when he’ll return to the line up. The Clippers really need the old guy as they are already without Shaun Livingston. Cassell is averaging 14.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game this season so he still has game left.
